My Services

Counselling and Coaching

Treatment is available for anxiety disorders (including generalised anxiety and panic disorder), depression and mood disorders, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. I also work a lot with folks experiencing burnout in the context of high-pressure careers and academic demands and have training in positive psychology coaching practices.

If you are a parent navigating the postpartum period, please know I completely appreciate the challenges of this period personally and professionally and I never mind if you bring your bub to sessions.

Individual sessions are tailored to fit each individual: their goals, strengths, challenges, and experience are all considered in developing an individualised treatment plan. Treatment utilises evidence based interventions, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing, Metacognitive Therapy and Mindfulness. I believe strongly in integrating therapeutic lifestyle elements and the mind-body connection.

Sessions can be offered in-person in Adelaide, SA, or globally via Telehealth (telephone or video).

Please contact me to discuss our suitability to work together, and with any other questions or concerns you might have.

Have you noticed persistent challenges in your daily life—struggling to stay focused, feeling forgetful, or grappling with disorganisation? These hurdles could be impacting your work, studies, relationships, or general well-being, prompting you to seek clarity and strategies to manage them better. An ADHD assessment could be what you're looking for.

An ADHD assessment starts with an initial series of consultation sessions (generally 3) where you'll discuss your history, experiences, and the difficulties you face. Additionally, you'll be given some other assessment measures and offered and other information from important people in your life will be collected. This allows us to delve deeper into your patterns and behaviours related to ADHD.

Once the assessment is complete, the psychologist will review and interpret the findings with you. Together, you'll explore your unique ADHD profile, discuss how it affects you, and develop personalised strategies to manage symptoms and leverage your strengths.

This process is your roadmap to understanding and managing ADHD, offering insights and support to navigate life more effectively.

You share the report from this assessment with your doctor, healthcare practitioner, or education provider. However, please note, this assessment and treatment path is focused on skills and lifestyle design. (Psychologists do not prescribe medication. If you wish to explore medication for the treatment of ADHD. you will need to organise an assessment with a psychiatrist.)

Assessment can be offered in-person in Adelaide, SA, or globally via Telehealth (telephone or video).
